Residents to be 'locked up' in support of Muscular Dystrophy Association
Written by Administrator
Monday, 01 February 2010 17:00

State Rep. Daniel Webster, Selectman Bill Boulter, selectmen’s secretary Diane Tobin and local business owner Karen Price are among the Pembrokians who will be “locked up” on Wednesday to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) of Massachusetts.

These Pembroke residents will be partaking in the MDA’s annual “Lock-Up” event where a mock “arrest” takes place and all bail money will be donated directly to the association and its programs to assist those suffering from neuromuscular disease.

Anyone interested in helping to post these locals’ bail money — and donate to a worthy cause — can send checks directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Massachusetts at 10 Commerce Way, Suite #4, Raynham, MA 02767, visit their Web site at mda.org or stop by the Longhorn Steakhouse in Pembroke from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3.
